This policy explains how Clothby ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through the Clothby website at clothby.app. We keep it short and honest.

Who we are

Viktor Kraus, based in the Czech Republic, is the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you enter, plus the date you joined and a marker that you came from this page. That's it — no names, no tracking profiles, no third-party ad cookies.

Why we collect it, and on what legal basis

Solely to notify you when Clothby launches and to invite you to early access. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time — see "Your rights" below. We will not send you unrelated marketing and we will never sell or rent your email to anyone.

Where it's stored

Your email is stored in our database provider, Supabase, hosted in the EU (Ireland, eu-west-1), protected by row-level security (the public form can only add rows, never read them back). Supabase is our data processor under a standard data processing agreement. Access to the data itself is limited to us.

How long we keep it

Until Clothby launches and you've been invited, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, or object to further contact. Just email us and we'll handle it within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the Czech Republic, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.cz).

Cookies & analytics

This page uses Umami, a self-hosted, open-source analytics tool we run ourselves — not a third-party service, and your data never leaves our own server. It does not use cookies, does not retain any personally identifiable information, and cannot track you across other websites. It only tells us anonymized, aggregate numbers — page views, referrer, browser/device type, country — never who you are. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
